About Us

David Lamb, Founder

ActNOW CPR was created in 2001 shortly after the 9/11 tragedy.

David wanted to make a bigger difference in the world. He had worked as a Police Officer, EMT, and in several Fire Department jobs, rising to the rank of Captain. He  also had the opportunity to work as a training officer in his fire department and he really enjoyed training others to work in the fire and EMS fields.

He became a California Specialized Training Institute Hazardous Materials First Responder Operational Level trainer. He had the opportunity to train many different fire departments in HazMat FRO.  Next he became a CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor and started to see the need for people not just within Emergency Medical Response areas to be certified but for all people to be certified.
